Orbital was founded by a team of established lighting directors, designers, and production managers, led by Senior Partner Aidan Callanan.
The team originally operated as HDSCreative, a full-service production company working across events, film, and television. Somewhere along the way, lighting became the thing we loved most, so we built a company around it. As a Lighting Director, Aidan has worked across projects for the Grammys, Fox Sports, Disney, the NFL, and many more, a career that continues to grow alongside Orbital today.
