[Torrance, California - 9/4/2023] - HDSCreative is thrilled to announce the successful culmination of the inventory acquisition of Thirsty Bird Inc., marking a significant milestone in our company's history. With over thirty years of excellence in the hands of Mr. Curtis Bradford, Thirsty Bird Inc. has been a trusted provider of lighting services to numerous major motion pictures and network television shows, including iconic productions such as New Girl (2011 - 2018), Tammy (2014), Switched at Birth (2011 - 2013), Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009), and many others. Following Mr. Bradford's retirement in 2021, HDSCreative was granted the opportunity this past spring to begin to acquire approximately 60% of Thirsty Bird's illustrious inventory.

 

Today, HDSCreative is delighted to announce the successful completion of the onboarding and sorting process for these new assets. We are thrilled to introduce over one hundred and fifty exceptional items to our esteemed rentals and services departments. These newly acquired assets from Thirsty Bird will not only significantly bolster our Grip department but will also augment our Lighting department with the addition of twenty-five state-of-the-art Chauvet Professional LED light units. Furthermore, this acquisition encompasses a substantial increase in our inventory of power and lighting data cables and distribution equipment.
